Mr. K would just as soon have all of may 2021 stricken from the history books. But since he can't turn back time, or erase whole months from existence, at least try to make him feel good. Write about one of the happiest moments in your life--a time when you did something amazing, or felt something great, or just received the coolest present ever, or just were at your happiest. Let's cheer each other up on this amazing Monday!

If you are working on your papers about Electric cars, what is your favorite piece of information you have found so far, and why does that one stand out.
or... If you are watching Al Pacino's Shakespeare film, what is your favorite part so far, or what is one thing you have learned so far that you think is important. Why? What are some foods you've never tried, but would really like to? What makes them sound so appealing? What are some foods you think you will never try? What makes them so repulsive?
What is the one thing you are most looking forward to doing as an adult? What is the thing you are looking forward to the LEAST? Explain why you chose each.
This weekend, my normally loquacious (talkative self) was asked to do a eulogy for my dad, and as an English teacher I give myself a solid D+. It was, frankly, the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life. I was, mostly, just happy to get through it. What is the hardest thing (It could be emotionally or physically) you have ever done?
or... Write about a time when something great came out of something bad. When you were sure it was going to end up horrible, but it didn't, and you were happily surprised by the outcome. To be with my family, I will now be gone Thursday, April 29th, through Tuesday, May 4th. I appreciate all the love and support from all of you. For our journals, I am leaving you a list to choose from. For today, and each day that I am out (Thursday, Monday, and Tuesday), pick one to write about.
Would you rather go into the past and meet your ancestors or go into the future and meet your great-great-grandchildren? Why?
